Harriers boss Russ Penn has landed his first new recruit for 2021/22 with the addition of striker Nyal Bell.

The all-action forward joins the club, subject to FA confirmation, from 1 July following the end of his time at Stockport County.

Nyal was a product of the Rochdale youth system and made his professional debut there before spells at the likes of Gateshead and Altrincham.

He joined Stockport in 2018 and spent three years there. Part of their National League North title winning side, he became an Edgeley Park regular thanks to his pace and eye for a goal.

After leaving there at the end of last season, the 24-year-old has made Aggborough his next stop, with Penn saying: “We’re delighted to bring Nyal in, he’s someone we’ve identified as not only being able to strengthen us but also someone who is hungry to come here and do well.

“He’ll bring a real threat to the final third for us and we’re looking forward to working with him.”

Welcome to Aggborough, Nyal!
