HARRIERS have given their squad a further boost by signing exciting attacking midfielder Tom Owen-Evans.
The 25-year-old has just enjoyed a standout 2021/22 season in National League North as a key player for Hereford.
He bagged 15 goals in all competitions last term, and played over 100 games for the Bulls, having also featured for Newport County earlier in his career.
His eye-catching displays have resulted in plenty of attention from elsewhere, but Russ Penn and Harriers have moved quickly to snap him up for the forthcoming term.
“I am delighted because he is a good player,” Penn said of his newest recruit.
“He fits in how we play and what we do, and he’s a great age.
“I think the fans will like his style of play as he’s an attacking player that goes with what with we’ve got.
“The way of his words when he came to see me and Jim last week just sold him to us. Every party was happy, and he couldn’t be signed quickly enough.”
Owen-Evans has penned a one-year contract at Aggborough, subject to FA and National League confirmation.
