A look ahead to Saturday’s contest in the FA Trophy….

HARRIERS will hope to get back to winning ways on Saturday as Slough visit in the Isuzu FA Trophy Fourth Round.
Following the disappointment of the reverse against Rushall Olympic on New Year’s Day, Harriers head into Trophy action against the National League South outfit who themselves were defeated last time out.
They suffered a 5-1 set back at Boreham Wood, having previously put together a run of three successive score draws.
Their last win came in the previous round of the Trophy – they knocked off National League outfit Maidenhead United in something of an upset, a goal in each half helping them to a 2-1 success.
Slough are managed by player-boss Scott Davies, the former Oxford United midfielder who actually made his senior career debut at Aggborough, scoring in a one-sided win for Aldershot Town in DY10 back in 2007.
He’s in his second stint with Slough and has, collectively, the better part of 200 appearances for the club under his belt.
Saturday’s tie marks the first visit to Worcestershire for Slough since 1998. They were regular National League rivals of Harriers in the 90s, the two sides meeting 15 times across the decade. Notably in the 1995-96 term, a 5-4 defeat on the road for Harriers was avenged by a 4-3 win at Aggborough as the goals continued to flow.
As a reminder, FA Trophy ties are settled on the day, with replays or extra time involved – should scores be level, the outcome would be decided on penalty kicks.
The pitch at Aggborough has been covered since Wednesday’s game and, at the time of writing, there are no expected concerns with regards to the weather but are continuing to monitor conditions and will update supporters should this change in the interim.
Kick-off on Saturday is at 3:00pm.
