Boxing Day: Hereford v Harriers

A look ahead to Boxing Day…

HARRIERS will look to back up an excellent win against Fylde when they travel to Hereford on Boxing Day.

The Reds secured superb back-to-back wins over the division’s top two in the last couple of league games, but face a very different test against the Bulls come Friday.

Landing in the heart of the Christmas programme, the Herefordshire-Worcestershire derby sees the two battle it out with points hotly in demand for both.

Harriers are determined to extend recent good league form, while Hereford will look to get back to winning ways after a challenging afternoon against Chorley last time out.

Their league position is something of a falsity. Though in the bottom four, they are so only by goal difference, and have as many as four games in hand on teams around them.  Victories in just two of those encounters would lift Hereford to 17th as things stand.

Prior to the Chorley defeat, they’d won against Peterborough Sports in league action and also taken recent points from Curzon Ashton and Chester.

Boss Adam Murray has been speaking ahead of the match-up, and his full interview is available to watch now:

Please note, no more match tickets will be made available with all 700+ having been sold. Supporters should not travel to the stadium on match day without having already purchased one.

Supporters who are banned from attending matches at Aggborough Stadium should be aware that their ban extends to Hereford FC. They are advised not to travel to Edgar Street on the day as they will not be permitted entry.

Limited away travel places remain from Harriers for those already with tickets, while the game will also be screened in full at the Harriers Arms.
