Saturday: Harriers v Morecambe

A look ahead to Saturday’s FA Trophy clash…

STUART Watkiss expects a different proposition from Morecambe on Saturday than their league position might suggest.

The Shrimps come to Aggborough for an FA Trophy Fourth Round tie with a chance to play with some freedom thanks to a respite from league action.

They’re struggling in National League North but have already performed well in the previous round of this competition, showcasing their prowess as a good footballing side.

Even in league action and despite some challenging results, Watkiss has seen enough to know they haven’t always taken their just rewards from recent games.

As such, he’s expecting “a good spectacle and a good football match” against the National League outfit who’ll be looking to avoid an FA Trophy upset against the Reds.

Watkiss’ full pre-match interview ahead of the game is available to watch below.

Kick off at Aggborough on Saturday is at 3:00pm.

Please note that, as of Friday morning, the club is continuing to monitor the changeable weather and the condition of the Aggborough pitch and will communicate any news of a formal pitch inspection as and when one is required.
