BEN Crompton is our second new signing of the summer after agreeing terms with the Reds.
The versatile defender recently departed Ross County having spent last season with the Scottish Championship outfit.
Capable at the heart of defence and on the right, Ben has crucial National League experience thanks to a hugely beneficial spell with Tamworth. He made 25 appearances for the Lambs on loan from Sunderland in 2024-25, featuring in their huge FA Cup tie against Tottenham.
22-year-old Ben had joined the Black Cats from Shrewsbury Town in 2022 and went on to become a regular in the U21s in the north east, making a senior debut in the EFL Cup a year later.
Ben will officially become a Harrier from 1 July, subject to International Clearance and league and FA approval.
