Brandon Hall is the next name on our list as we profile the winners of the club’s 2017/18 end-of-season awards.
PLAYERS’ PLAYER OF THE YEAR: BRANDON HALL
Custodian Brandon, its safe to say, has enjoyed a busy first season of it here in Worcestershire.
Originally, the 25-year-old penned terms after successfully negotiating a summer trial in pre-season following his departure from Woking, hungry as he was for regular first-team football.
The action has certainly been regular – he made 48 appearances and League Cup to complete one of the busiest and action-packed campaigns of his career. Regularly in fine form, only an injury prevented him from racking up the half-century of games for the Reds.
An ever-reliable last line of defence, Hall’s form not only earned him a new contract with Harriers, but also secured him the ultimate of plaudits – the Player of the Year award, as voted by his very own team mates.
Brandon would say of the accolade: “It’s nice to get the recognition from the players as you train with them day in, day out.
“It was really lovely to receive the award.”
Congratulations, Brandon!
