HARRIERS suffered a second home defeat of the season in going down 2-0 to Farsley Celtic on Saturday.
A goal in each half secured the points for the visitors on a day that never really saw Harriers find their groove in any way.
On seven minutes Tom Allen nodded Celtic in front with a well-taken finish from a set-piece Harriers failed to decisively finish.
Accomplished striker Frank Mulhern went close to adding a second for the Celts on 18 minutes as he drove at goal from 18 yards, but Palmer did well to get down and turn it around the post.
There was only an Ashley Hemmings effort, high over the target, that offered Harriers any real encouragement i the first half as he struck on 25 minutes.
With eleven gone after the restart there was a chance for the hosts as they moved forward decisively for the first time on the day - Ceesay did well to play the ball into the path of Hemmings, but goalkeeper Dearnley was down low to smother the threat quickly.
Jimmy Spencer finished the job in the 77th minute, pressing the defence and stealing the ball before charging at goal and finishing smartly.
In between there were chances for Ashley Hemmings and debutant Scott Burgess, but neither seriously troubled the Farsley goalkeeper.
