LADIES Skipper Amber Lawrence knows Harriers won well despite not being at their best on Sunday as they downed Solihull United.

The girls kept up their fine league form as they dispatched United 5-1 to pick up three more important points.

Amie Savva was the standout performer as she grabbed a hat-trick in the win, whilst Lauren Wyatt also bagged herself a brace.

It moves Harriers up to third in the table, but Lawrence spoke to our YouTube channel after the match and stressed there is still room for improvement.

“We’ve had a bad run with games being called off, so getting back into the swing of things has taken a little bit longer.

“…at the end of the day, we got the three points and I am happy with that..”  Amber Lawrence

“We played against ten men and the standard drops – people aren’t necessarily as switched on as they can be and give the ball away too easily.

“But, at the end of the day, we got the three points and I am happy with that. I think the girls are happy – Savv’s scored a hat-trick and worked hard.

“I think it’s just about getting back into the swing of things now… hopefully we can have a consistent run of games now.”
