Dec gets all tied up

Weeks becomes latest player to sign up to new deal at Aggborough…

Declan Weeks

Harriers have given their future plans another boost in the arm by tying up popular midfielder Declan Weeks to a new contract at the club for next season.

The lively former Southport man has made a spot in the team his own this term after fighting to earn his place near the beginning of the season.

His eye-catching displays have proved a hit with Harriers fans – the Welshman has already made the better part of 30 appearances this season, scoring once in the win over Gainsborough Trinity at Aggborough.

With the likes of Dan Bradley, Lee Vaughan, Fraser Horsfall and Ryan Croasdale all tied up for 2018/19, the club have moved to secure Dec as the latest in that line of players to ensure – whatever the outcome of the current season – the team remains in good shape.

An exclusive interview with Declan as he discusses his new deal is available on our Soundcloud channel, and you can listen by pressing Play on the button below.
