Current league leaders Salford City are to make the trip to Worcestershire on Saturday, the fourth meeting between the two sides in their respective histories.
The Ammies currently sit on 72 points from 34 National League North matches, three points clear of second placed Harrogate Town.
Here are Five Things to note ahead of Saturday’s clash.
THEY’RE GROWING FAST
Salford have seen a dramatic rise through the league ladder in recent years, having resided in the Northern Premier League Division One North from 2008 until 2015. In fact, their final season at that level saw their average attendance sit at 139, which, three years and two promotions later, has risen to 1,650 for the current season.
FAMILIAR FACES
Emmmanuel Dieseruvwe made the switch from Aggborough to Greater Manchester at the beginning of the current season, and has made a total of 23 appearances, scoring three goals in the process.
Fraser Horsfall made a switch in the opposite direction via a brief stint at Gateshead, having spent time on loan with The Ammies last season. Horsfall joined Harriers in August 2017 on loan, which was made permanent in December after a successful spell.
LOOKING BACK
Harriers have faced Salford three times previously, with Harriers picking up one victory, and Salford winning two. The Ammies won 3-0 earlier this season against Harriers thanks to a second half hat-trick from Jack Redshaw.
The first meeting last season ended in success for Harriers at Aggborough, James McQuilkin scoring from an early free kick that was enough to ensure three points.
THE FORM BOOK
Over the past five matches, Salford have picked up eleven points including victories over Spennymoor Town, Tamworth and Alfreton Town. Last time out, though, they drew 1-1 against North Ferriby United, the result meaning that it is now mathematically impossible The Villagers to survive relegation.
REDEVELOPMENT
Salford have dramatically developed their ground, Moor Lane, over the past twelve months, having built four new stands to see their stadium’s capacity rise from below 2000, to comfortably over 5,000.
The stadium has also been renamed to The Peninsula Stadium upon the completion of the the new stands.
