HARRIERS Academy and U23 players continue to get great footballing opportunities – ten of them featured in Stourport Swifts’ draw against Loughborough in midweek.

Josh Sargent netted for the Swifts in a 1-1 against Loughborough at Quorn and was joined in the starting line up by Harry Higginson, Harry Stratford, Kieran Finglas, Adam Beardsmore, Gabby Danko and Academy Player of the Year, Reiss Taylor-Randle.

Tom Smith, Randane Larmond and Jerry Puermo also featured in the squad.

The likes of Smith, Higginson and Stratford have all featured in and around the first-team squad this season while also studying and training full-time as part of Higher or Further Education courses with Harriers and BMET College.

It’s the latest in a huge range of opportunities afforded to young footballers starting out in their careers with Kidderminster Harriers, their work in the classroom and the COSE training pitches straddling their competitive football in both Academy and first-team football.

Well done, lads!
