JOHN Eustace’s feelings were mixed as he left Harriers to join Queen’s Park Rangers as assistant manager.

News broke on Friday that Eustace will team up with Steve McClaren at Loftus Road.

Eustace spoke to our official YouTube channel before signing off at Aggborough, however, reflecting on his time in DY10.

He said: “I’ve had an unbelievable two years here – it’s been fantastic, and I’ve loved every minute of it.

“I’m really grateful for the opportunity that Colin gave me… I am sad to go, but for my development as a manager and a coach, it is a great opportunity for me to work in the Championship and for a manager like Steve McClaren.

“I am grateful for the way the club supported me… the way the lads have played football over the last two years is fantastic, it has been brilliant.”
