Kidderminster Harriers can confirm that two members of its management team have left the club to pursue new opportunities in the Football League.

Head of Coaching, Matt Gardiner, is to join Championship side Queen’s Park Rangers as a member of their coaching team, while our coach Kevin Phillips is to depart to join a League 2 side shortly.

Chairman Colin Gordon commented: “These are two big losses for us but I’m absolutely delighted for both Gards and Kev who have worked tremendously hard for us over the last couple of years, and Kev even prior to that.

“They leave with our blessing to take up two fantastic jobs, and it is once again proof of the model that we work with here – we’ve been able to help develop some fantastic coaches and staff who’ve this summer made moves into the Football League while also progressing ourselves as a club.

“We wish them all the very best for the future.”

The club expects to make further announcements about incoming members of staff and players shortly.
