Ladies reach Second Qualifying Round…

Harriers Ladies continued their SSE Women’s FA Cup campaign on Sunday with a 9-0 victory in the First Qualifying Round.
Harriers won against AFC Telford United Ladies 2-0 in the Preliminary Round last Sunday, setting up their First Qualifying Round tie taking place against Hereford Lads Club Ladies.
The match began strongly, Amber Lawrence giving Harriers the lead after seven minutes, before grabbing her second on 14 minutes after firing in following Harriers breaking through the Hereford back line.
Alex Nicklin made it 3-0 with a strike from 25 yards, before both Lawrence and Nicklin scored another each in the space of one minute to set the score at 5-0 going into half time.
Harriers continued to find the net after the break, Sophie Richards netting after 65 minutes before Nicklin completed her hat trick after 78.
Kirsty Roberts and Molly Maguire netted in the final ten minutes of the match to seal a 9-0 victory.
Harriers will travel to face St. Johns LFC on Sunday 23rd September in the Second Qualifying Round.
