As the Harriers education system continues to grow, so do our partnerships with great organisations and businesses across Worcestershire – such as our relationship with Hallmark Stourport Manor Hotel.
The partnership is one that is busy adding great benefit to our players of all ages as they work and study with the club.
But, just as importantly, with enable the hotel to become a real community facility within the town as the two parties work together on community events and courses.
Harriers Chief Operating Officer, Adam Crowle, commented: “Being able to develop a strong partnership with Matt and the team at Stourport Manor Hotel is fantastic.
“It enables us as a club to use some great facilities and upskill our players whilst undertaking a Physical Training Diploma. Everyone at the hotel is so accommodating and not only does it aid our players’ development, but it also enables our players to work within the local community.
“Over the course of the next year we will be setting up Physical Training Diplomas for members of the community who wish to develop a new career or skillset.”
Matt Ward, Hotel Manager, added: “We are very keen to place the hotel at the heart of the community, opening our doors to our neighbours and recognising that we have a responsibility to support where we can.
“The huge range of educational courses being offered by Kidderminster Harriers is something we are proud to be associated with; helping people follow their dreams whilst being able to support their future careers, gaining skills that will give them a platform to build from.
“We are happy to talk to other organisations and charities that feel we have the ability to support and continue to build our links locally.”
