HARRIERS can confirm the appointment of Mark Yates as Manager until the end of the season.
Yates is no stranger to Aggborough having twice played for the club and also managed the team between 2006 and 2009.
The 49-year-old has taken charge of Cheltenham, Crawley, Macclesfield and Solihull Moors since leaving the managerial post here, and returns looking to bring a spark to the club’s final 14 games of the term.
The ‘new’ manager will this week’s training sessions and began with the squad on Monday. Owing to a previous commitment, he’ll oversee his first matchday when Harriers entertain Chester next weekend (9th).
Jimmy O’Connor and Russ Penn, having assisted with team management in the last few weeks, will continue to aid Mark during the run-in.
We’ll have full reaction from the camp later today.
