Declan Weeks has handed Harriers a massive boost at the start of closed season by signing a new contract with the club.

The 23-year-old midfielder has just finished his second season with Harriers, making 31 starts and scoring four superb goals.

It followed a fine breakthrough campaign at Aggborough for Dec – the two seasons as a whole establishing him as a big part of the squad with a total of 73 appearances; a total that would’ve undoubtedly been higher had it not been for a run of injuries and illness.

Weeks, though, is keen to keep up his rapid progress and has swiftly moved to sign himself up for the 2019-20 campaign.

We’ll have reaction from Dec on our YouTube channel shortly.
