Ed ready to “go again” at Bradford

Williams looks for positive response at Bradford (Park Avenue) this weekend…

ED Williams is urging Harriers to “get it right” as Harriers head to Bradford (Park Avenue) this weekend.

Harriers are still looking for their first win of the new term after tasting defeat, also for the first time this season, at Telford on Tuesday.

A frustrated Williams spoke after the game and admitted that the players know only too well that their own showing was below par.

He insisted, though, that the team have to be positive and ensure they put things right ahead of the challenging trip to the Horsfall Stadium on Saturday.

Williams reflected: “I think looking at first and second half, we weren’t good enough and we know that ourselves.

“All we can do is get back in training and address the errors then be positive, pick ourselves up and go again on Saturday.

“When the second [Telford goal] goes in we just seemed deflated, but we’ve got to change that and get it right on the pitch.”
