HARRIERS got back to action with a solid 2-0 victory over Farsley Celtic at Aggborough.
A goal in each half was enough see the Reds to a second home league win on the bounce – albeit six weeks apart.
Correy Davidson’s penalty put the team in front after Ashley Chambers had been fouled with 20 minutes played, lively debutant Ashley Hemmings also going close.
Though it was never a free-flowing contest packed with chances, Harriers did the business at both ends of the pitch, and deservedly picked up a second when Ed Williams, on as a sub, squeezed the ball home from a tight angle.
That came with 12 minutes left to play, with Harriers able to see the win out, thanks in part to a fine save from Cameron Gregory to deny Cartman with just three left to go.
