HARRIERS have today added goalkeeper Will Mannion to the squad, on loan from EFL Championship side Hull City.

The 21-year-old is available to caretaker boss Russ Penn ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with Southport in National League North.

Will has been with the Tigers since 2016 having joined from AFC Wimbledon, making his Hull debut the following year in the EFL Cup.

A former England U19 international, he comes to Aggborough ready for first-team action after spending much of last season on loan in the National League with Aldershot Town, where he made 24 appearances.

Penn commented: “Will has been put to us by a few people and we’ve looked at him – he’s someone we see playing in the next month or two.

“He’s a big size and a big character, and this will be as great for his development as it’ll be for us.”

Will’s spell with Harriers runs initially until early in the New Year.
