HARRIERS have been handed a boost with the news that skipper Cliff Moyo has signed a new, longer-term contract with the club.
Moyo has been in fine form for Harriers since signing in the summer and has established himself in the role of leader of the group.
The 26-year-old has featured in every minute of every match so far this season, scoring once.
Such is Cliff’s enthusiasm and character, the club’s owners feel he is exactly the type of player around which a team can be built and, as such, are delighted to have secured his services until the summer of 2021.
Speaking about the news, Caretaker boss Russ Penn concurred, adding: “This is a great signing for us as a club. I am glad it is done and am grateful the owners who’ve made it happen.
“He is what we are looking for going forward.”
The Zimbabwe international went on to say: “Kidderminster is a fantastic club – the first time I signed here, I couldn’t believe I was playing here.
“I’ve always tried to give my all on the pitch and I’ve been rewarded for that. I’m more than delighted to be here.”
