HARRIERS once again were beaten at Aggborough as their tough run of form continued in National League North with defeat to Boston.
An even start was punctuated by the award of an eighth minute penalty from Jordan Thewlis, hammering the ball home after a foul in the area.
The Reds did respond well and equalised through Cliff Moyo from a corner, Sam Austin then going close before the break.
Just after the restart, Austin saw a shot deflected on to the bar and Chambers saw shots both saved and blocked on the line – all just before Boston’s second, which arrived with frustrating simplicity through Knowles’ header.
That seemed to dampen Harriers’ spirit ultimately beyond repair, Boston going close again as Will Mannion was forced into some good saved.
Correy Davidson did see a shot go wide and sub Brandon Diau almost nudged the ball home late on but, ultimately, the hosts never managed to go close enough. The third came two minutes from the end of normal time as another Boston corner proved too much to handle when Wafula nodded home.
