Richard Peniket departs Kidderminster Harriers to take a break from football…

Harriers can confirm that Richard Peniket has left the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 26-year-old has decided to take an extended break from football for personal reasons and to allow his body to recover from cumulative injuries.

Harriers have held discussions with Richard about his decision and have taken steps to support him in his transition.

Richard added: “For personal reasons I have decided to take a break from football.

“I’d like to wish the staff and players all the best for the rest of the season. I’d also like to thank Kidderminster Harriers for their support.”

Everyone connected with the Club would like to thank Richard for his efforts during his time at Aggborough and genuinely wish him well for the future.
