HEROES of the 1999-2000 title-winning season at Harriers have been reliving those days in a special series of interviews to mark the 20th anniversary of that season.
The Reds won promotion to the Football League under Jan Molby in what was an incredible season, now two decades into the past.
To commemorate the achievement, some of the key figures from the time have been speaking to The Harrier, our official match day programme in a collection of features written by supporter and journalist, Harry Taylor.
Things kick off with the thoughts of two certified legends of that time in Dean Bennett and Craig Hinton; cornerstones of that term and much of the time in the Football League that followed.
Bennett recalls those years as the “best time of my life”, while both look back on their Aggborough careers and those early days under Graham Allner and Molby.
Check out the first interview in The Harrier for this weekend’s game against York City – on sale throughout the ground.
