Club Announces Exciting New Partnership with Kaizen Ticketing

Neil Male, CEO of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Kaizen Ticketing which will revolutionise the way in which the club operates its ticketing & retail operations for the 2020-21 season.

Kaizen Ticketing will host an online portal accessed via the Harriers official website, from which all Harriers season tickets & match tickets will be sold. In addition to this, digital ticket scanners will be implemented at each turnstile entrance to Aggborough Stadium on match days providing fans with quick, cashless access to the venue.

Purchasing tickets takes less than 2 minutes, with e-tickets delivered in PDF format via email, which can then be printed and taken to the turnstiles or scanned via a smartphone.

Online ticket sales will be available until kick-off for all home match days to offer supporters every opportunity to purchase before they arrive at the ground, with ticket prices rising by £2 if purchased in-person on the day of the match, which must be done so from the Ticket Office, not the turnstiles.

Supporters who do not have the capability to purchase themselves online, or would prefer not to, need not worry as they will still be able to purchase over the phone or from the Club Shop on non-match days once the business reopens.

Paul Biggerstaff, Commercial Manager, said “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Kaizen, a company who possess vast experience in delivering e-commerce solutions in football and will work with us to dramatically improve the quality of our ticketing & retail activities. We’d already planned to go down the route of advance, online ticket sales and the Covid-19 pandemic has enhanced the requirement to do so in order to significantly limit contact wherever possible as part of the new social distancing measures”.

“It’s imperative for the success of our business that we expand our digital footprint and this is one of many areas in which we will be investing in technology to provide supporters with the best possible experience on a match day by entering the stadium as quickly and efficiently as possible. The new e-commerce platform will provide a sole point of sale for products the club has to sell, including season tickets, match tickets, away coach travel & merchandise, which will make the whole customer journey much smoother from start to finish.”

The platform will go live imminently as the Club is set to unveil an exciting new project which is due to be launched in the next 24 hours. The partnership with Kaizen represents the first of a series of system improvements being implemented at Aggborough by the Commercial Team who are striving to professionalise & streamline the business and utilise technology to deliver “best in class” services for supporters, with details of other initiatives soon to be announced.
