Harriers have welcomed a new face to their management team this New Year following the appointment of Michael Barrett as the team’s new Therapist.

Michael settled quickly into life at Aggborough and has been in the dugout for our last two home matches, having previously shadowed outgoing physio Cameron Smith in the role.

Michael has strong experience in the local area having worked in various roles at the likes of Aston Villa, Coventry, Solihull Moors and Solihull United.

Boss Russ Penn said of Michael’s arrival: “I’d like to welcome Michael to the football club – we’ve had some great references from people for him and he’s been around the area for some time.

“He’s slotted in straight away and is as busy as you’d expect, and we’re pleased to have him here.”

Cameron left his role after Christmas to take up a new position with the Ministry of Defence, with Russ adding: “The work Cam did in the six months here was fantastic, and we all wish him well in his new role.”

Good luck, Cam, and welcome, Michael!
