MANAGER Russ Penn and assistant boss Jimmy O’Connor have signed extended terms at Harriers for a further season, we’re pleased to confirm.

The duo have been busily preparing for a second season at the helm at Aggborough, with all parties agreeing that now is the perfect time to bring more stability to the club.

As such, both Russ and Jim have signed extended terms to take their reign to the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Owner, Richard Lane said: “Russ and Jimmy have worked incredibly well together over the last year and are determined to bring back success to Kidderminster Harriers.

“As a Board we recognise how important it is in football to have stability in football, so extending their terms here for a further season gives that to not only them, but to our players, staff and our fans.

“We’re all excited by the squad they’re putting together for the new season.”

Penn added: “Myself and Jimmy have always spoken about how much we enjoy working here, so this is really just an opportunity to continue that into the coming season and, now, the following one as well.

“It gives us and also the players some stability. I want to thank the Board for that and, for us, it’s now about carry on what we have been doing as a group.”

O’Connor said: “We’re all looking forward to the new season and having fans back at Aggborough.

“Everyone at the club is determined to do well over the next couple of years and that’s the kind of culture that can breed success.”
