Important information for fans attending Sunday’s FA Cup match…

HARRIERS are looking forward to welcoming a substantial crowd to Aggborough for Sunday’s Emirates FA Cup tie with FC Halifax Town.
We’re all excited about the occasion and, to help everyone’s experience before, during and after their visit be as positive a possible, we’ve put together the following information which may help.
We’d ask that all supporters digest this information fully before attending:
How many tickets have been sold?
All Main Stand (home) tickets have been sold and there are no more available to purchase in this area. If this is your desired area, it may be worth checking our online ticketing platform periodically should any tickets be returned and then put back on sale, but this cannot be guaranteed.
For other home areas, the 5 Star Windows North Stand and East Stand still have tickets available.
For away fans, East Stand is extremely limited, but there is good availability in the South Stand terrace.
What will be the capacity?
Based on demand so far, we expect the vast majority of home tickets to sell, while FC Halifax fans have also purchased in good numbers.
However, due to operational, security and safety factors (including segregation, television logistics, COVID protocols and catering), a crowd close to 4,500 will be more realistic. Thanks to your incredible support, we’re close to making this happen.
Can I still make a purchase?
At the time of writing (Thursday PM), tickets remain available in accordance with the above.
The quickest and easiest way for both Harriers and FC Halifax fans to purchase is to do so online at harriers.co.uk/tickets. Ticket are issued almost instantly via e-mail.
Tickets are as per our normal league match admission prices.
Can I buy a ticket on the day?
As of now, you can do so, but again, it is far easier to do so in advance online. This is because, as with all our home league games, tickets purchased on the day will need to be in bought person at the Ticket Office. This could mean lengthy queues, and such tickets will increase by £2.
As tickets are selling quickly, we would again urge fans to buy in advance to avoid any disappointment. Those unable to go online can contact our ticket office on 01562 823 931 where one of our team will assist.
If you do plan to buy in person on the day, please check availability online or by phone.
Is there parking at the ground?
As home fans will be aware, there remains a COVID testing facility adjacent to Aggborough Stadium which is situated on the Stadium Close Car Park.
With the addition of a substantial broadcast operation for the filming of Sunday’s match, parking is extremely limited for supporters. We strongly urge that home and away fans avoid driving to the stadium to park, and instead suggest using car parks in the town centre. It is free to park there on Sunday after 3pm. The local Council website has more details.
Are there any COVID regulations?
In accordance with current guidelines, there are no guidelines to which supporters need to adhere ahead of the game we would ask supporters to use hand sanitiser which will be positioned around the ground. Naturally anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms are asked to stay away from the Stadium and to isolate in in line with Government advice.
Please be mindful that, given a larger than normal crowd is expected, it is likely that many supporters may feel more comfortable wearing a face covering and should feel welcome to do so.
What else is happening?
We’re pleased to be able to help support the efforts of KHIST in their latest Foodbank Appeal.
KHIST representatives will be stationed between the North and East Stand, by the Main Stand turnstile and outside the Harriers Arms and welcome any items you may be able to donate.
In particular, canned items, biscuits and selection boxes are gratefully received. The donations will go towards helping feed local families in need at this time of year.
KHIST, through one of its members, also have 150 ‘fan clappers’ which they’ll be distributing to young Harriers fans at the game to help boost the incredible Aggborough atmosphere even further.
At half time on Sunday, keep an eye out for more fun with the Safari Park Shoot-Out.
Is there anything else I need to know?
As a family club and as a general reminder, we would like to again put on record the following for all supporters:
- It is a criminal offence to enter the playing field at any time during a match day. This includes the pitch itself, as well as any dugouts, technical areas and any other areas marked as a designated Red Zone. At the present time this naturally more important than ever to protect the safety of players, staff and supporters.
- The use of pyrotechnics within a football stadium is strictly prohibited and can seriously damage people’s health.
- The conduct of fans at ground is also covered by the National League/Football Association Ground Regulations, to which supporters give their agreement by entering stadiums.
The club has and continues to work closely with the police and will share any information it has available in relation to any antisocial behaviour by supporters.
This can lead to not only further action by the club but also the police. Such action may include bans from travel and or stadiums and, in serious cases, criminal proceedings.
Most of all…
We’re beyond proud of our players and staff who have led us to Sunday’s exciting occasion.
We know that Harriers fans will come in numbers to get behind them as we look to secure another Cup upset against higher-ranked opposition, and we thank you in advance for your incredible support.
With thanks to our Match Day Sponsor for Sunday, Titan Steel Wheels and our Match Ball Sponsor, Adam Hewitt Limited.
……and PS – don’t forget, kick-off is at 4pm!
