Matchday medical help required

Are you a medical professional who could lend a hand?

The Purple Granite Stand

HARRIERS are looking to boost their match day medical provision and are keen to hear from anyone who may be willing to help.

The club are fortunate to be able to call on some superb, versatile medical professionals to ensure match days run smoothly.

However, with an increase in attendances over the last 18 months and with the club’s general progress in mind, we’re looking to add to this service with an additional fully trained and qualified Crowd Doctor or Events Practitioner

This individual will need to satisfy (or be willing to complete as soon as possible) the following criteria:

  • Hold the appropriate professional indemnity
  • Have participated in one of the approved pre-hospital training courses
  • Have participated in one of the approved Major Incident courses (MIMMS etc)
  • Have participated in recent Major Incident training
  • Be trained to undertake major incident triage of patients in line with ambulance service clinical guidelines
  • Proof of enhanced DBS
  • If you are a Medical Doctor then you must be fully registered with the General Medical Council, with a license to practice in the UK

You must  be available to assist on home match days on some weekends and evenings.

Anyone interested is being part of a dedicated and professional team should contact security@harriers.co.uk with relevant details and a copy of their CV
