HARRIERS eased into the next round of the Women’s FA Cup with a comprehensive win over Burton Albion at COSE.

A Lara Stevens brace and a goal from Chloe Whyley secured safe passage for the Reds, who were ahead as early as the ninth minute with Stevens’ first.

A crucial second arrived eight minutes before the break as Stevens doubled her own tally, with Harriers putting the game beyond doubt with the third on 73 minutes as Whyley struck from range.

The win puts Harriers into the Third Qualifying Round of this season’s competition and continues a strong start to the term, with league wins over Crusaders and Knowle also under their belt.
