HARRIERS have added to their squad with the signing of striker Seb Thompson.
Young front man Thompson, 21, is local to the area and spent time in the Aston Villa Academy as a youth, before spells at Liverpool and Derby.
He’s also featured for Leicester and most, recently, Burnley. He left the Turf Moor outfit after a busy 2022-23 season of Academy football, and spent time with Macclesfield earlier this campaign to maintain his readiness.
Seb has been training with Harriers for the last month or so while he’s recovered from injury, and is close to contention for the Reds.
Manager Phil Brown said: “Seb’s been on the training ground quite a bit.
“Levels of fitness are going to be important before we take any risks…. [but] competition for places at that end of the pitch is vital.”
