HARRIERS have added major experience to the squad with the arrival at Aggborough of midfielder Luke Summerfield.

The 36-year-old has the better part of 600 senior career appearances to his name, including a number of years at Championship and League 1 level.

The former Plymouth youngster, who counts Cheltenham, Shrewsbury, Grimsby and Wrexham among his former clubs, has now put pen to paper on a deal at Aggborough for the 2024-25 campaign, subject to FA confirmation.

It comes after a four-year spell in the National League with FC Halifax Town, where he played over 100 games – including last season as the Shaymen made the play-offs.

“In football, to come to a new club is always an exciting day and today is no different,” the new Harriers man told the club YouTube channel.

“I’ve met everybody behind the scenes, the gaffer and the staff behind the scenes, it’s been a good day.

“I’ve heard many great things about Kidderminster as a club and as a town through different players who’ve been here and are here now.

“I’m very excited.”

Welcome, Luke!
