National League North promotion winner added to squad

Phil Brown has added further attacking power to the squad with the signing of Maziar Kouhyar on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old joins us from York City and will, subject to FA confirmation, spend the 2024-25 campaign with us having already tasted promotion from the National League North with the Minstermen in 2021-22.
Maz featured for Walsall as a youngster and progressed to the first team there, making over 20 first team appearances.
After a spell out with injury, he joined Hereford in 2021 and performed impressively there, notably in the first half of the 2021-22 season when his form was rewarded with the switch to York.
To date, the winger, an Afghanistan international, has made over 70 appearances for City, including 25 in last season’s National League.
