A look ahead to Saturday’s clash at Scarborough…

HARRIERS need to be at their best on their travels to bring points back to Worcestershire from their next two games starting at Scarborough on Saturday.
The men from Aggborough have played four of their last five matches in league and Trophy on their home patch, but hit the road with two tough trips next up.
The main priority is the first matter at hand, says assistant boss Neil McDonald, as Harriers travel to Scarbrorough Athletic in search of points to continue their recent good form in National League North.
After that, on Tuesday night, comes another long trek to King’s Lynn Town, but the miles are no cause for concern for McDonald, who says the camp are relishing the challenge.
“We’ll be well prepared for that,” he said, looking ahead. I know the weather’s a little bit bad at the moment, but we’ve adjusted to that with the areas we can train on.
“We’ll pick a team, first of all, and concentrate on Scarborough and once that’s over then we can concentrate on King’s Lynn after that.
“They’re two really good games; two competitive games but two games that we’re really, really looking forward to.”
Scarborough have always been a competitive force in National League North but, in recent weeks, have just one win in six in league and FA Cup.
Their qualities are evident, though, with the Seadogs one of only a handful of teams to defeat Scunthorpe United this term – and current league leaders Chorley, too.
McDonald added: “I believe they’ve won five, drew five and lost five, so they’re going through a little bit of an inconsistent patch.
“Hopefully we catch them at that, but they have got some good players, and we’ll have to be right on our mettle and play at our best to bring the points home.”
Harriers will remain without the likes of Luke Summerfield and Alex Penny this weekend as the camp continues to manage its injuries, though Paul Downing did feature as a substitute against Halesowen last weekend after a lengthy lay-off, and got more game time in a training ground fixture this week.
The Aggborough No. 2 went on to say: “The long-term ones are still a long way off, but we’ve had a behind closed doors game this week against Port Vale, which was great considering the weather.
“That’s given players who’re coming back from injury a little bit of time on the pitch, so they’re more match fit.
“We’ve got a competitive squad, without giving too much away.”
Kick-off at Scarborough Athletic on Saturday is at 3:00pm.
Away travel is available from Harriers up to and including Friday, but fans travelling should also be mindful that parking at the ground for supporters is extremely limited and adjust plans accordingly.
