Circle Health Group partnership continues

Partnership to continue for second season…

HARRIERS partnership with Droitwich Spa Hospital is set to continue for a second consecutive season.

Following on from last year’s partnership, Kidderminster Harriers Football Club has chosen Droitwich Spa Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, as their preferred healthcare partner of choice for a second year in a row.

Conveniently based in the heart of Droitwich Spa town centre, and an approximate twenty minute drive away from Aggborough Stadium, the hospital’s Imaging team will schedule players in at short notice, and scan them within 24-48 hours following a game or training session, to help them receive a diagnosis quickly so that the football club’s medical team can take action as soon as an injury occurs. The hospital offers MRI and CT scans, as well as Digital X-ray and Ultrasound so can cater for all imaging requests.

Harriers players can also take advantage of Droitwich Spa Hospital’s specialist physiotherapy facilities based on-site, which include Shockwave Therapy and Advanced Hand Therapy to aid rehabilitation post injury should the players require it.

Executive Director of Droitwich Spa Hospital, Claire Davenport, said: “This is the second year of working with Kidderminster Harriers Football Club, and we are thrilled to continue the partnership. We always feel very proud to play our part in getting their footballers back to match fitness, and onto the football pitch, as quickly as possible.”

Paul Biggerstaff, General Manager of Kidderminster Harriers, commented: “We are delighted to have extended our partnership with Circle Health for another season and hope to continue building this relationship for many years ahead. The services we have access to from Circle are absolutely invaluable to us and the swift timescales they have been able to work to in accommodating us have added huge value to our ability to diagnose, and subsequently treat, injured players.”
