PAUL Wotton says he’s relishing the chance to manage at Aggborough as Harriers boss for the first time in Tuesday’s pre-season friendly.
The Reds host Alvechurch in DY10 for a 7pm kick off in what is the team’s first home runout.
It comes after games – and wins – at Droitwich, Halesowen and Stratford, and Wotton admits it will be a different feeling – one he’s looking forward to.
“I can’t wait; I’m looking forward to it,” he said.
“The pitch looks magnificent there at the moment and whilst these [away games] are all good exercises, there’s nothing like playing at home.
“I’m really looking forward to it; it’s obviously my first game there and lots of the players’ first game there as well.
“Like I said, the pitch there is tremendous so, as long as there’s no hosepipe ban, looking forward to getting some water on it and getting the ball flying about!”
Wotton confirmed that Zak Brown, Owen Evans and Ollie Tipton will likely be back in contention on Tuesday after missing Saturday’s Stratford tie as a precautionary measure.
Tickets for Harriers v Alvechurch are on sale now.
