DAVID Davis will lead Kidderminster Harriers into the 2026-27 season after being named Captain.
The vastly experienced and hugely respected midfielder begins his third season at Aggborough having arrived in 2024 and made over 80 appearances in Red.
It was an easy choice for Paul Wotton, who praised the player’s contribution – on and off the field – ahead of the new campaign.
Discussing his decision to name ‘Digga’ Captain, he said: “He’s a leader. He trains every day as if it’s the first day he’s ever trained. Does everything right. Does the warm-ups right. Does pre-hab right. Goes in the gym after training. Looks after himself.
“He’s a good, good player and he’s a great leader. He’s still hugely influential on the pitch, and he’s just a fantastic example to younger players…. he’s a shining light to everyone.”
Harriers begin the new term at Hornchurch on Saturday, 3pm.
