Young midfielder Brayden Johnson signed on loan from Middlesbrough in March 2026.

The 19-year-old was in fine form for Adam Murray's Eastbourne Borough in the first half of last season, his exploits across 30 appearances bringing him to the attention of many EFL clubs.

Middlesbrough won the race to sign him in January 2025 when they paid an undisclosed fee for his services and, as well as excelling in their PL2 ranks, also spent time out on loan at National League side Gateshead at the back end of last term.

Johnson had featured 20 times in PL2 action and the National League Cup this season, and reunites with Murray for the remainder of the current campaign at Aggborough.
