Leesley has plenty of experience with almost 300 non-league games under his belt, notably a five-season spell as a winger with Harrogate Town where his 22 goals in 2017-18 helped push the team to promotion from National League North.

He’s also played for Alfreton and Stockport and joined Harriers from Boston last season, where he’d featured over the course of the previous three seasons.

Injury curtailed his involvement to just 18 matches in 2022-23 but it was still a nonetheless pivotal role in the in the end-of-season climax thanks to plenty of assists and one peach of a goal.
