Layton Love arrived at Aggborough in March 2026 on a deal for the remainder of the campaign, as the club strengthens for the final push of the term.

The versatile 21-year-old, who can play across the front three, spent over 12 years in the West Bromwich Albion system, progressing all the way to earning professional terms and featuring for the first team in their FA Cup tie at Aldershot in early 2025.

A dominant presence at 6ft 4in up front, Leyton was regularly in impressive form in the PL2 ranks at West Brom, but has endured a frustrating time as a result of long-term injuries, the recovery from which he has been completing with training sessions as part of the Harriers squad in recent weeks.

He has National League North experience too, thanks to a loan spell with Brackley Town.
