Tuesday: Harriers v Morecambe

A look to Tuesday night’s FA Trophy tie…

HARRIERS and Morecambe will meet under the Aggborough lights in the FA Trophy Fourth Round on Tuesday night.

The midweek clash comes as the original tie was postponed on Saturday.

Tuesday’s match will be settled on the night, with penalties immediately following the 90 minutes if scores are level, the winner taking a place in the Fifth Round.

It’s a first visit to Aggborough for Morecambe in 19 years when they were 1-0 winners in a 2007 National League game.

The two met regularly in the late 1990s and again from 2005 up until the Shrimps promotion to the EFL.

Harriers’ last win over Morecambe came in September 2006 thanks to an Iyseden Christie strike sealing a 1-0 success on the road.

The last Aggborough win for the Reds against this opposition came in October 2005 when Harriers, managed by Stuart Watkiss, were 1-0 victors thanks to Gareth Sheldon’s goal.

Watkiss spoke at length about the Trophy tie prior to the original game – that’s still available to watch in full below:

Kick off at Aggborough on Tuesday night is 7:45pm.
