HARRIERS have been handed a remarkable away draw at Stourbridge in the Third Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
For the third time in three seasons, the Reds will tackle the Glassboys in a Cup match at the War Memorial Ground – this latest tie to be played on Saturday, 6 October 2018.
The draw will bring up some tough memories for Harriers fans – they saw their side beaten twice by Garry Hackett’s men in the 2015/16 season, a miserable FA Cup defeat followed up swiftly by a return visit and similar treatment in the FA Trophy soon after.
Harriers will, however, undoubtedly feel they’re in far better shape this time around under boss Neil MacFarlane, and with a solid start to the National League north campaign under their belts.
Stourbridge reached this round of the competition by knocking out our fellow National League North side Leamington this weekend courtesy of a dramatic, late 3-2 victory.
We’ll bring you more details including admission prices for the tie as and when they’re established.
