IT’S 15 YEARS to the day that John ‘JJ’ Melligan arrowed in a fantastic goal for Harriers at Wrexham in Division 3.

The youngster, on loan from Wolves at the time, found time and space as he strode forward at the Racecourse Ground and struck into the top corner from distance.

Sean Parrish had already put Harriers ahead that day as they went on to secure a 2-0 win – that in itself was a fine goal, but many will argue that Melligan’s goal overshadowed it.
