Introducing: KEMP Hospice

A look at the amazing work done by KEMP Hospice…

Kidderminster Harriers and KEMP Hospice

Between now and Christmas, Harriers will be supporting KEMP Hospice, helping the charity raise funds for and awareness of the work they do in the local community.

The club is spreading its charitable work across four amazing causes over the course of the 2018/19 season, and up next are KEMP, who, in the very heart of the town offer free specialist care and support to people dealing with life-limiting illness and to their families.

Their work across the Wyre Forest area is so vast that it’s a given that Harriers fans, somewhere, will have been touched by their services – with many going the extra mile in return to raise money via their Santa Fun Run and other activities.

Over the course of the next few months we’ll be doing our bit by hosting KEMP at some of our home games as they stage bucket collections and with support at events both here at Aggborough and all around. We’ll have more details on that soon but, for now, you can bookmark Friday, 14th December in your diaries for a special Smartphone Quiz night at Aggborough.

We visited KEMP this week to meet their CEO, Heidi Hawkins, as he outlined some of what the charity does and how the money raised by partnerships such as this one can make a difference. Just press play below to watch our feature:
