Manager Neil MacFarlane has hailed striker Ashley Chambers for “setting the tone” for Harriers with his performances and attitude this season.
The former Nuneaton striker was a summer signing at Aggborough, and the 28-year-old has wasted absolutely no time in settling into life in this part of Worcestershire.
The experienced goal-getter has five goals to his name already this season and is something of an unsung hero within the team.
His contribution to the cause is not lost on his manager, however, who heaped praise on the way he goes about his work – Chambers restored to the starting line-up against Altrincham last weekend and grabbing a goal.
MacFarlane told harriers.co.uk “Chambo has been a terrific signing for the football club and for the group; his attitude is exemplary every single day.
“He came back into the team against Altrincham and carried on doing what he’s been doing for us for the whole season.
“He really sets the tone at the top end of the pitch and whether it’s with Joe or Bradders or whether it’s with Kane, he really has that work ethic from the front.
“Like I have said before, this group is giving me absolutely everything, so I can have no complaints with them at all.”
