HARRIERS and Stafford Rangers will meet again on Tuesday (24th) in an Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round replay after a 0-0 draw at  Aggborough.

Harriers dominated the largest share of the match, racking up some 20 attempts at goal, but could not find a way past a dogged and determined Stafford defence.

The visitors, who themselves had one or two key chances, celebrated the result at the final whistle, and will play the role of hosts on Tuesday.

Chambers and Peniket had early sights of goal before Austin saw his firm shot blocked by ex-Harrier Luke Jones, who took the ball flush in the face.

Davidson and Peniket once more tested goalkeeper King before a rare Boro chance saw Green go mightily close 11 minutes before the break. Better chances came to break the deadlock soon after for Harriers, with Weeks seeing a shot spilled and Chambers volleying a shot off the outside of the post.

A splendid save from King was all that stopped Williams from opening the scoring on the stroke of the break, his dipping effort tipped over the bar.

The second half was far quieter in terms of chances – it took until the last 20 minutes or so for the game to open up again, and it was Stafford who almost netted, only Palmer’s swift reactions stopping a loose ball from rolling over the line.

Harriers had three big chances to put the tie to bed in the final few minutes; Austin saw a shot well held by King, before Shenton saw his effort parried, and Butterfield planted a header wide in injury time.
