Ladies fire in fourteen

Ladies win 14-0 at Lea Castle…

Ladies striker Danni Selmes

HARRIERS Ladies recorded an emphatic victory on Sunday afternoon at Lea Castle.

The match, kicking off at 2pm, saw Harriers host Leamington Lions, and it wasn’t long before the Ladies took the lead – Danni Selmes firing in from close range.

Bailey Raine-Hodge found the net seven minutes later, blasting over the keeper’s head from range – a super strike.

Selmes then grabbed another couple to complete her hat-trick inside the opening 25 minutes, before Amie Savva fired in, Raine-Hodge got her second, and Mia Badland and Alex Nicklin found the net.

Selmes got her fourth just before half time to see the Ladies nine goals in front.

Into the second half, Katie Priest netted before substitute Hannah Ashman tucked home from a corner.

Selmes got her fifth, Badland then got her second, and Molly Maguire headed home with the last touch of the game.

Next up for the Ladies is another home match as they host Droitwich Spa Ladies at Lea Castle on Sunday 27th October, a 2pm kick off.
