Harriers Ladies make it into the Worcestershire FA Women’s County Cup semi-final for the third season running after beating Midwest Counties outfit Droitwich Spa Belles 12-0.
The score was opened within the first three minutes through leading goal scorer Danni Selmes, who netted another two to complete her hattrick inside twelve minutes.
It was Selmes again who made it four, and a great strike into the top corner by Alex Nicklin made it five.
Nicklin was again through on goal, but got brought down – Kirstie Bavington was on hand to smash it into the back of the net on her return to the team.
The first half scoring didn’t stop there, and it was then the turn of youngster Mia Badland to get on the score sheet and make it 7-0.
The second half was very much the same as the first, Droitwich battling hard but Harriers continued to find the net – Selmes made it 8-0, and then got her team’s ninth and tenth – her seventh of the game.
Nicklin then made it eleven, before Molly Maguire rounded off the 12-0 score line.
The Ladies now return to league action next Sunday, travelling to Leamington.
