AMARI Morgan-Smith says he wants Aggborough to be bouncing again once the new season starts.
The 31-year-old re-signed at Harriers earlier in the summer, as boss Russ Penn landed one of his big targets.
The goal-getter knows the club well, having netted 12 times between 2013 and 2014 in what was a memorable period for the club.
Knowing full well what Harriers – and in particular the club’s fans – are capable of, Amari has made clear he wants to bring back that buzz.
Speaking in an interview with our YouTube channel, the former Luton Town man spoke about his Aggborough comeback, and his biggest desire looking ahead.
“They were good times, to be fair – they were always good memories,” he said of his initial time in Worcestershire.
“I didn’t leave with any animosity or bad feeling, personally, so I am very delighted to be back in the building.
“I want to get the fans singing my name again and, hopefully, we can bring the good times back like they were when I was here many years ago.”
Morgan-Smith insisted that the Aggborough faithful will have a big part to play, especially when it comes to matches on home soil.
With fond memories of the North Stand in good voice, the striker wants more of the same.
He added: “You have to win your home games, I think that’s a good advantage.
“We have a lot of fans here and hopefully we can get that bouncing behind the goal like they used to be.
“If we can take that forward, we can be a presence in the league.”
